Web Design
I have designed and deployed many websites. As a general guideline my fees are as follows
Up to 8 page website where you supply a logo/artwork and there are no advanced features (shopping cart, feedback forms, photo gallery, database) prices would be as follows:
- Setup - $795
- Website design with two design concepts and two revisions for the chosen design. Additional revisions charged at $60/hr.
- 8 pages - Additional pages would be $75 each
- registering the domain - The domain would be $10 per year thereafter.
- 20 email addresses - Additional email addresses - $5 each
- Two 30 minute page updates - Additional updates would be $30 each
- Other Services
- Logo/Artwork - I can arrange for approximately $200 - $250.
- Photo Gallery - price depends on complexity but as a general guide a Lightbox photo gallery with 30 pictures would be $60 plus the cost of the page. (This does not mean single photos placed on pages - those are included in the regular price)
- Video - would depend on how you want the video to be available, how much of it etc. Generally a $60 hour charge for implementation.
- Blog - $300 to Install with 30 minutes training
- Ecommerce - Depends on complexity, software package etc.

Website Hosting
I know most people don't want the hassle of registering domains and dealing with hosting companies so I offer this service to my clients. For $5/month I will host your website and provide up to 20 email addresses. With this plan I will also re-register your domains for $10 each per year. Most of my clients choose to be billed automatically for this service on a yearly basis making it an easy and cost effective solution.
Computer Assistance
Do you sometimes just need someone to ask a quick 'How Do I' question? I'm one of those people who knows the answer to lots of computer questions. And if I don't know off the top of my head - I'm good at finding out the answer quickly. I charge in 5 minute blocks, $5 per block. Most single questions can be answered in less than 5 minutes.
Once we set up a contract for this service you can call, instant message or email me and I'll respond as quickly as possible. Of course, if I can't answer your question - there will be no charge.
Sometimes you might need more of a walk through on how to do something - I'm more than happy to do that as well. I've found that this kind of working through the problem together is great for the client as they learn how to do the task themselves, but in a much shorter amount of time than it would take to figure out from a manual. Same rates apply, $5 per 5 minute block.
Data Conversion
If you are in the situation where you are switching from one program (accounting, ecommerce, content management, customer relationship management etc) to another and find that moving all that data over isn't all that easy I can help. The cost for this service is $60/hr with most jobs taking less than three hours. Please contact me to discuss your requirements.
